Loreen O’Donnell commenced her art journey in July 2018, where she semi-retired from her Information Technology career of over 40 years. Having worked in most Australian capital cities as a Consultant, including Hong Kong, she decided to fulfil her dreams to create. Loreen’s work uses bold colours which reflect the rich colours of Australia, and her work represents predominantly the Western Australian coastline. Currently Loreen is experimenting with airbrush and India inks and is always trying new techniques and mediums. Loreen has exhibited as a member of Ellis House Community Art Centre, is currently leasing space at the Heart Studio in Fremantle and enters local Art Awards each year. “Sweetie Pies” piece submitted to Motion by the Ocean is airbrushed Inks and hand painted Gouache on synthetic paper.
