This painting represents the relationships between elders and the younger generation. The knowledge, the love and the support both are able to give each other. This is important for good mental health and for keeping connection to country.

I am an emerging contemporary Aboriginal artist. I am a proud Nyikina woman from the Kimberley region as well as a mother of 3. I paint using acrylics on canvas and my style is pastel and black with neutral tones. My style depends on my mood and feelings when I am painting. I paint the stories of my elders and that of my family and events I experience that give me the urge to paint them on canvas.
