I was born in Wales and spent majority of my childhood running around the Welsh countryside. The seasonal changes of the landscape were enchanting. I fell in love with colour. In my teens I travelled via ship to Australia. The vast beautiful mystique blue ocean with its salty crisp breeze sparked my desire to paint her. My passion to paint is inspired by events and experiences in my life. I create what I feel. My pieces are generally abstract incorporating various techniques using acrylics on either canvas or timber. Many of my paintings have sold in exhibitions – Ellis House Art Centre; Vasse Art Awards; Belmont Arts Awards; Rise Art Exhibition. I have sold several pieces privately. Currently I have some of my works on display at Swan Valley Gallery. I find the ocean enchanting and I respect and love her. She welcomes everyone to partake in the multitude of adventures she offers. I begin my paintings with an image in mind but very quickly my feelings take over and I am a victim to my passion. I become completely immersed in the feelings I hold for my creation.
