This is part of my beach shack series and is a scene from the Grey Settlement on one of those quiet autumn days where peace presides over the entire bay and just the sounds of gulls and gently breaking waves can be heard. It’s my interpretation of heaven on earth. My soul feels like it’s stumbled across home.

Leanne is a passionate painter who mainly works in oils. Leanne has won many prestigious awards in the 20 years she has lived in Perth Western Australia. After teaching art at home and in the community, she has now created an online art membership platform which teaches all the basics in oils and adds new monthly teaching videos. She continues to do workshops but no longer runs weekly classes. Leanne is known for her amazing portraits which grace the homes of many Australian and international families. Her work revolves around expressing light and this she skilfully does with her unique bravura brushstrokes and her exceptional use of colour. Leanne is continually commissioned and is sought after by art collectors, She recently won the $50000 liberty liquors portrait award and the Cossack peoples choice award.
