This artwork depicts women passing knowledge through to the next generations. Dark colours have been used with earthy tones to give more of a warm and powerful representation instead of a feminine one. Links have been made between the women and many dots indicate the strength and love that is shared between them.

I am an emerging contemporary Aboriginal artist. I am a proud Nyikina woman from the Kimberley region as well as a mother of 3. I paint using acrylics on canvas and my style is pastel and black with neutral tones. My style depends on my mood and feelings when I am painting. I paint the stories of my elders and that of my family and events I experience that give me the urge to paint them on canvas.
