Hi there, my name is Sandy Prideaux and I thank you for taking the time to look at my bio. I am a mother of three most amazing young men and as they move to a more independent stage of their lives I have time to develop my passion, creating. I have always completed commissions for family and friends, usually pencil art and drawings as they were always quick to set up and put away. More recently I have moved towards acrylic and oil painting entering and selling pieces in the City of Joondalup Community Arts Exhibition. I was accepted into the 2022 City of Bayswater Community Art Exhibition. I also have pieces displayed at Arts Edge Photo and Frame. “Pinnaroo Sunset” was created after taking many photos of the ever-changing sunset one warm summer evening while fishing with my family at Pinnaroo Point. This is an oil painting that has been varnished and professionally framed. “Calm Before the Storm” was created from a reference photo that my Mum took along the Perth coast as she and Dad watched a storm roll in.
