Hello, this is a brief introduction to who I am and what I’m about. My name is Nikita, I’m a photographer and videographer inspired by nature and travel. I aim to capture the essence of my subjects in their most natural and authentic light giving the viewer a real sense of connection. My passion for photography developed years ago when I was in my teens, always with a camera in hand trying to document my daily experiences and the beauty that surrounded me. In my mid twenties I decided to embark on a life of adventure and spontaneity and spent the next 4 and a half years working and travelling on yachts to incredible destinations worldwide, this line of work offered me the opportunity to see and capture many incredible moments in rather remote places. I’m self taught and have received multiple endorsements from leading photographers through competitions I’ve entered over the years. I’ve now settled in the beautiful Margaret River region where I hope to continue sharing all the beauty we’re exposed to in this world on a daily basis, which for me personally is a constant reminder of what’s truly important in life.
